Distributive Networks Named 'Rising Star' in Deloitte's Technology Fast 500 Program - Company Enjoys 4261 Percent Revenue Growth Due To Intense Demand for
High-Quality Mobile Text Content and Agile Messaging Solutions
October 23, 2007
WASHINGTON, DC - Mobile content and platform
provider Distributive Networks today announced it has been named a Rising
Star on Deloitte's 2007 Technology Fast 500. A special category, the Rising
Star list ranks 20 companies that have been in business a minimum of three
years, but less than five years, based on percentage of fiscal year revenue
growth over the years 2004-2006. Distributive Networks, which is ranked
second on the list, grew 4,261 percent during this period.
"Deloitte's Technology Fast 500 Rising Stars honor young companies that
have gained early traction in today's highly competitive technology
marketplace based on percentage of revenue growth," said Phil Asmundson,
Vice Chairman, U.S. Technology, Media and Telecommunications, Deloitte &
Touche USA LLP. "We applaud Distributive Networks for being one of only 20
companies to achieve the Rising Star Ranking in 2007."
Based in Washington, D.C. and founded in 2004, Distributive Networks is
a premier provider of mobile text content and messaging applications. The
company produces and delivers fresh, clever content to inform and entertain
mobile phone users, with more than 50 titles ranging from Movie Gossip to
Animal Trivia to Poker Tips to Business 101. Distributive Networks' highly
flexible, proprietary messaging platform allows the company to deliver this
content and to power virtually every other way that organizations want to
interact with people via their cell phones (including mobile coupons, real-
time polling, and browsable data), all with advanced measurement
capabilities and the scalability to handle massive messaging volumes.
"We are extremely proud that Distributive Networks has been named a
Rising Star on Deloitte's Fast 500 report," said Kevin Bertram, CEO of
Distributive Networks. "Early on, we recognized the clear need in the
exploding mobile market for a truly flexible messaging solution, and for
the highest-quality text content to maximize uptake and renewal rates. Our
continued emphasis on innovation and agility has helped us to build a
content asset and a messaging platform that makes Distributive Networks a
best-in-class, one-stop-shop for any organizations' mobile needs. I
congratulate and thank our outstanding staff for their commitment to
excellence in serving our clients."
