Distributive Networks Named 'Great Place To Work' By Washingtonian Magazine
October 22, 2007
WASHINGTON, DC - Mobile content and
platform provider Distributive Networks today announced it has been named a
"Great Place To Work" for 2007 in the current issue of Washingtonian
Magazine. It marks the first time the company, which was founded in 2004,
has received this distinction.
Published bi-annually since 1999, the "Great Places To Work" award
honors select companies in the Metro DC area from a pool of hundreds of
submissions. According to the magazine, Distributive Networks was chosen
for its "interesting work, good pay and benefits, collegial staff, employee
development, and flexibility." Distributive Networks is featured as one of
only five companies in the article's "Who Pays Very Well" section, and
highlighted in the "Where to Find a Balance" and "Work Hard, Play Hard"
sections.
Among the benefits Distributive Networks provides are:
- 100% employer coverage of medical, dental and vision care insurance
premiums for employees, spouses, domestic partners and dependents
- 100% match of 401(k) contributions for all employees
- Quarterly profit-sharing program for all employees
- 100% coverage of cell phone purchases and monthly expenses, as well
as portable broadband expenses for home Internet access
- 100% coverage of luxury health club membership (provided employees use

- 100% coverage of employee purchases from nearby Starbucks
- 20 standard paid holidays per year, plus 10 additional days of paid
time off for each employee
- Standard office hours of 10:00am to 6:00pm, with flexible work
schedules available to all employees
- Opportunity to apply for paid sabbatical of up to three months every
three years
- Regular company-sponsored outings to D.C. United, Washington Nationals

"Fostering a workplace environment that allows employees to flourish
while also having fun was an incredibly important factor in the creation of
this company," said Kevin Bertram, CEO of Distributive Networks. "We are
honored that Washingtonian Magazine has recognized the effort we place in
developing and rewarding Distributive Networks' incredibly talented staff."
